This timer has the best combination of classic and digital features. It has a classic look and feel so that it is easy to see the numbers and easy to set the time. But, it runs on a battery like a digital timer which means silent operation (no ticking!) and a great escalating ring. The only wish I have is that it was made in more colors.Customer Review: timely

How did I ever manage to cook without this item? For years I've been using the clock and guess work only to forget what time I started to cook something. Every cook should have a timer that lets you know when the food is done. Easy and quick to set [not like those digitals that take 10-15 seconds] and I love the alarm which starts off loud but then gets increasingly louder until it's turned off. Also has a little led bulb that shows the timer is on as it's so silent it's hard to tell ie. there's no clicking with this battery operated timer.Customer Review: Best Little Timer I have ever had!!!

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 88 YR OLD MOTHER. HER OVEN TIMER WASN'T LOUD ENOUGH TO HEAR FROM HER LARGE FRONT ROOM. THIS WAY SHE CAN CARRY IT WITH HER ,WHEREVER SHE IS. SHE HAS MACULAR DGENERATION AND THE NUMBERS ARE VERY EASY FOR HER TO SEE. WHEREAS THE OVEN TIMER IS DIGITAL AND OFTEN NOT AS EASY TO READ.
