Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cook Rite, 90300, Oven Thermometer, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Didn't Get What I Paid For Summary: 1 Stars
After I realized that my Sunbeam thermometer was off 10 degrees by testing it against other more accurate thermometers, I was told by Sunbeam that this thermometer is rated to be plus or minus 15 degrees of the actual temperature. Which makes this thermometer not accurate enough for my oven.
Customer Review: If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Summary: 1 Stars
I put it in the oven, set at 350 degrees, for a long time (about an hour). During that time, the indicator never wavered -- it stayed at the same 500 degrees it was at when I took it out of the package.
This is a piece of junk.
Customer Review: Dead on arrival Summary: 1 Stars
I tried placing this thermometer in different places in my oven, but the temperature gauge never moved. Amazon made it simple to return at their expense, but I decided not to bother with a replacement. I'll just pick something up locally.
Customer Review: Inaccurate to the Point of Uselessness Summary: 1 Stars
Perhaps I just got a bad one, but it always read significantly (50 to 75 degrees) lower than my oven indicated. Over time it's gotten even worse and is now useless. Spend a couple of dollars more and get something decent.
Customer Review: Not recommended Summary: 1 Stars
I had to reorder because the first one came with the indcator needle not attached.
The replacement stopped working within 4-5 weeks, which is too late to return it to Amazon
