Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Taylor Analog Instant-Read Dial ThermometerCustomer Review: Excellent Product Summary: 5 StarsThis little thermometer is great! I use it to test the water temp when i'm making bread... it is small but easy to read. It even gets the air temp perfectly right when not in use.
Customer Review: For the kitchen, garage, or bedroom Summary: 5 StarsLove it. Uncomplicated, reliable, cheap, no batteries. My kind of gadget. Neat little food preparation, mechanic's, or marital aid.
Customer Review: Works, but that's all. Summary: 4 StarsI bought it knowing that it was an analog thermometer. It works, seems to be quite accurate, but is very very slow. If I could do it again, I'd buy the instant digital model.
Customer Review: Small roast thermometer Summary: 3 StarsThis thermometer although nice, it very small. The face is less than 1" wide. Very useable but not as readable as I some would like.
Customer Review: Disappointing Summary: 1 StarsFor the price I paid, I guess I shouldn't have expected too much, but I really can't even use his thermometer. Checking visually for doneness is about as reliable. It takes so long for the temperature to register that the food loses heat while you are checking its temperature, and if it is not done then it just has to cook longer because it takes over a minute for the needle to register 160 degrees.
