I just bought this thermometer to use with my new espresso machine and it's a reliable little thermometer. I like the fact that you can clip it on to your cup so that it is secure and it tells you can tell when the milk is ready by looking at the colored area on the dial.

Greatest thing ever for making a latte at home. Never liked what we got from our machine, but it's amazing what getting the right temperature for the milk can do - we used to try to gauge the heat of the milk by touch, but using this made it clear that we were way off. Before purchasing this, I would just guess as to when the milk was hot enough. Or, I would feel the outside of the pitcher...not the best way to test the milk! With this handy dandy little guy I am able to make the milk really hot without making it too hot!!!Customer Review: This is an excellent buy!

I recently purchased a new espresso maker and wanted to make sure I was frothing the milk correctly. I purchased the Taylor Classic. It has been an excellent investment. Great gift for someone else. You will use this the first 10 times and then just wing it after as its pretty easy to get the hang of it and no longer need this. Mine got used about 10 times and is now in a drawer somewhere. Nice though, well built.
