I had previously been using a meat thermometer and a binder clip when steaming milk for cappuccino. This purpose-built thermometer is much easier to use. The large numbers are easy to read and the target temperature zone is highlighted on the dial.Customer Review: Cappuccino Thermometor

I like the large clearly maked dial. The clip that holds it to the decanter is fairly tight but you have to hold it when you pour the milk into your coffee mug or remove it before doing so. Much better than the first thermometor I bought.Customer Review: Foam a licious

Thermometer works great, numbers are large enough to view early in the morning before that satisfying first pour. The yellow band accenting the 140 to 160 degree range is helpful. Clip is clumsy and I don't use it.Customer Review: cappuccino thermometer

wonderful little thermometer. Allows you to make cappucino froth just like the big guys. Only consideration is that it is only 5 inches long. Not meant for tall container. Get a frothing cup to fit.Customer Review: pretty good

This thermometer works fine. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because although the stem is stainless steel, the face is plastic and feels really cheap.
