DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
I bought this timer in a local Big Box store because i wanted the simplicity of an old fashioned wind up timer.
I figured that without batteries, complex setting mechanisms, and quiet beepers, an old fashion wind-up model was the way to go. The package even said "Taylor...since 1869"...or some such!
Wrong!
This thing is cheap Chinese junk! It keeps extremely poor time....set it for 5 minutes, and it rings at 3.5 mins!
Worthless!
I got on Ebay and got a really nice Vintage LUX Minute Minder, like my Mom had, and it is The Real Deal. Couldn't be happier with it! Keeps perfect time, and has a clock works made by Robert Shaw. The best there is. Will last my lifetime, unless i drop it or something.
